PAMBuoy™ Baseline
The PAMBuoy™ Baseline mode has been developed to allow cost-effective, long term monitoring for marine mammals.
Unlike PAM systems that store raw data, the PAMBuoy™ can transmit data daily allowing the user to minimise their risk of data loss. Status is generally transmitted every 15/30 minutes giving the user confidence that the system is alive and functional, as well as a summary of how well the detectors are functioning.
The system is monitored remotely and can be configured and updated wirelessly minimising maintenance costs.
The PAMBuoy™ Baseline system was fist deployed in May 2011 and includes Porpoise, Dolphin & Beluga detection in its roll of honor.
